Our Charity Partner
The Railway City Road Races believes that wellness extends beyond physical health—it includes building strong, connected communities. That's why we're proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin. Every step taken on race day helps create brighter futures for local children and youth through the power of mentorship.

Why Mentorship Matters
A mentor can help a young person:
-
Build confidence and self-esteem
-
Improve mental health and well-being
-
Develop positive relationships
-
Reach their educational and personal goals
-
Discover their strengths and realize their potential

Today, more than 70 local children are waiting to be matched with a mentor. Your support helps us reduce that wait and create more life-changing mentoring relationships.
How Your Support Helps
Every race registration and donation helps support:

-
Volunteer mentor recruitment and screening
-
Match support for children and families
-
Youth mentoring programs
-
Training and ongoing support for volunteers
-
Creating safe, meaningful mentoring relationships
Small Act. BIG Impact.
Every child deserves someone in their corner.

Whether you register to run, volunteer, become a mentor, or make a donation, you're helping ignite the potential of local children and youth in St. Thomas and Elgin County.

Together, we're building stronger futures—one step at a time.
